In case you missed it:

Feed my Starving Children

Founded in 1987, Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and we ship these meals to nearly 70 countries around the world. With the input of scientists from major food companies in the Twin Cities area-including Cargill and General Mills – FMSC developed MannaPckRice, a formula consisting of: rice, soy, vitamins, and dehydrated vegetables. Come join us on March 29 at Deering High School. Ask anyone who was there last year – it was a blast, and your entire family can help. FMI visit

Alpha PRC 10th Annual Walk for Life

Walk for Life- Join Alpha Pregnancy Resource Center in its 10th annual Walk for Life on Saturday, May 9th. Registration begins at 9 am at Gowen Park, Main St in Sanford. This is a family oriented event!

All funds raised through this event make it possible for us to serve our clients completely free of charge. We provide free pregnancy tests, pregnancy information and confidential peer options counseling, as well as parent support and education through our Earn While You Learn program. We not only serve and care for those that come in for pregnancy tests and options counseling, but we continue to serve and care for them as they continue through their pregnancy and parent their child. It is important to us that we not only speak life in regards to the baby she is carrying, but also to the mother as we foster hope and support her in her decision to raise her child.

Please contact, Jenn Mayo to get a walk brochure, or visit for more information.
