Corinth was a city strategically located on one of the main east-west land routes in ancient times. People from all lands filled the streets, markets, and places of worship. Corinth, being famous for it’s corruption and decadence, became synonymous with the life of “do what feels good.”

In Acts 18 Paul visited Corinth and planted a church. Jesus said, “It is the sick who need a doctor,” and this proved true as the church grew and Paul left for other cities.

This letter is from Paul, written to the church he worked so hard to get started, to spur them to the gospel by pointing out sin and answering some practical questions about life in Christ. Join us as we study 1 Corinthians: Letter to a Church Plant.
